Pacific Wreck Database Founded by Justin Taylan, Pacific Wrecks is a free, non-profit database about the Pacific War veterans, authors, travelers and visitors who collaborate to share information on World War II wrecks in the Pacific.

Save the Flame Since its completion in 1921, the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City has been honoring the memory of World War I veterans. Recent funding issues have forced the flame sitting atop the 217-foot tower to be extinguished except on special holidays. Pioneer Services, a Kansas City company that provides financial services to members of the Armed Forces and their families, has initiated a "Save The Flame" fundraising campaign and is challenging individuals and other local and national organizations to donate funds to save the flame.
